Chapter 16: The Exit?

Anthony’s POV

2:06 pm

I was interrupted from reading the book by a sudden knock outside Timmy’s door. I haven’t read the book yet with all the ruckus that was going on in the house, this house is very loud and lively.

“Oh hey, can someone get that? I’m on the toilet…” Timmy shamelessly shouted from the bathroom.

“I’ll get it…” I volunteered as I set down the book on the couch, stood up and brushed myself before walking to the door.

When I opened the door, I found myself standing in front on 2 guys who had bob cuts and wore sky blue robes. They gave me a very creepy and chilling smile.

Oh boy…

“Greetings sir, we’re with the church of Religitology” one of the guys said as he pulled out a Radar gun from…somewhere, “would you like to take a sexiness test?”

I slowly shook my head as I shut the door, ignoring their offer.

“Uhh, sir? Are you sure?” one of them said from behind the door as I walked back to the couch.

Billy came out from the hallway, looked at the door and back at me.

“Who’s that?” he asked as he stared at the door.

“Oh, just some random guys who want to brainwash people…” I said as I picked up the book from the couch. “Umm, I’m going out for a bit. If you need me, I’ll be outside at the park getting some fresh air…” I said as Billy sat down on the couch.

“Oh okay. But be sure to be back, don’t get lost, you know the way back right?” Billy asked me as if he was talking to a 5 year old.

I chuckled a bit. “Don’t worry; I know which way to go. I won’t be long…” I said as I walked out the door and made my way to the park.

I just needed some peace and quite so I can seriously read the book, plus it’ll have higher chances of me finding Ian around here when I’m out, maybe we’ll be able to cross our paths out here…

When I finally arrived at the park, I sat at the nearest bench and began to look around a bit.

There was the playground that we always filmed on, surrounded by a few children. And by children, I mean grown people with child-like personalities. Then the opened spaced-place where you normally play soccer, filled with dozens of people playing tag, having picnics and Metrosexual hipster, daring people to battle with him.

The sight made me smile. I took in a big sigh, letting all the fresh air enter before I finally start reading.

After like an hour of reading the whole thing, I finally found the part that I was looking for.


“Mount Jones is used to protect the town from threats and danger, outside of this mountain is an endless jungle, filled with unidentified creatures. Mount Jones is served as the border, separating the dangers from the forest to this town.”


Okay… I guess that means we shouldn’t go beyond the border…


“Mount Jones is also rumored to be a possible entrance and/or exit to other dimensions. A long time ago, this rumor was tested by--”


The next sentence was a bit smudged; it was hard to read it.


“A human sized tunnel is located at the feet of the mountain; it serves as the exit and/or entrance to other dimensions, as said by the rumor.”

That’s it! The exit! Or so it says here…I dunno if this rumor is even true… but, checking it out won’t hurt anybody, right?

I closed the book and looked up at the sky. It was turning gray; I think I better go inside now before it pours.


Ian’s POV

4:30 pm

“What’s wrong?” some jolly guys (cloned Ian and Anthony) asked me happily as I sat at the staircase outside this random café.

Despite of them being kind of annoying and everything, I just went with it and answered their question.

“Umm… I’m kinda lost. I absolutely have no idea where I am...”

“Don’t worry! We’ll make it better!” they happily giggled as they fetched a random map lying on the grass, gave it to me and laughed their way out of the area, to make other people’s lives “better”.

I stared at the map, noticing it was a map of a random amusement park. I sighed, threw the map away and stood up.

I continued to walk on foot around the streets, alone, not knowing where to go.

Antoinette, that bitch. She left me alone in these streets; I knew I wouldn’t be able to rely on her… who am I kidding?

But at least we picked up extremely helpful information. That librarian said that Anthony is close by… I might be able to find him in no time, he could be anywhere around here.

It would’ve been easier if I had someone to accompany me…  

I sighed again, thinking back at Antoinette’s random abandonment…

A/N: Umm... okay... wow. I haven't updated this story in QUITE a while now.. and all I have to say to that is I'm SO sorry... I had a huge writer's block and a whole ball of madness just came and ran me over and I could NOT write... but I'm back now I guess??

I wish I could write more and I'm also so sorry I could only leave you with this short chapter... this is all I CAN give you since I JUST came back... and well, to be pretty honest, I thought no one cared about this story anymore so I was afraid to make a new chapter from out of the blue... even if no one cared about this story anymore, I'm still gonna upload it.

I'm sorry you had to read that not-so-long Author's note, but I'm already working on the next chapter so... stay tuned??
